Man, those are some great looking fish, guys! I'm off to Vaseux Lake this weekend to try it out. The weather won't be as nice as it was when you were there, but lately the fishing has been awesome. I've been talking to a guy who says he has a 9 pounder hanging around his dock. Hopefully it's not just a fish story!

BC is home to some of Canada's best bass fishing! Glad to finally see a show on it!

Let's hope the people that see this show realize bass are limited to certain waters for a reason. I hope you touch on the illegal introduction of bass and other spiny ray/coarse fish species into pristine rainbow trout waters. Bass are a hoot to catch, but BC is known for trout, and if the "bucket brigade" continues their onslaught on the watersheds not carrying bass, the trout fishing will be decimated. As it is, some lakes are going to be treated with Rotenone to kill off the perch and bass that have been planted there. So, enjoy fishing for bass, but please keep them where they belong, not where you think they should be.
No.4 VERY COOL!
It's about time a quality Canadian fishing show like FishNCanada did an episode on BC bass. For anyone wanting more info on bass in BC, or to have someone to hook-up with to take them bass fishing here, check out my website at www.bcbass.ca

When Fish\'N Canada asked for our help to put them on fish for a bass show in BC we were very excited. Man did they do an awesome job showing what an amazing fishery we have here in BC. Thanks again to Angelo Mike and Pete for coming all the way to BC to film.
If anyone wants more information on where to go to fish some of our amazing bass fishery please contact us at www.wcba.ca
BC is blessed with some amazing bass waters let\'s keep them where they are.

Hey guys, great shots and nice to see some coverage of BC bass fishing. I recently moved out to Kelowna from Ontario and before that from South Africa to Ontario in 99. The only missing piece of the puzzle living in this paradise was the lack of great bass fishing we had in Ontario (and even better and bigger in South Africa!!), or so I thought until I came across Chad\'s and WCBA\'s sites. Between their websites and your show I\'m now totally stoked about moving here and cant wait for spring, once our great ski season is over!! Just one question.....How do I go about seeing the shows? Caught the last half of the second show on WFN but would love to see all of both episodes. Any advice? Thanks again

Thanks for all the great comments. To Keith, this was a 2-part show. The Largemouth portion aired last weekend and the Smallie episode will be on this weekend (Global). I believe WFN will be playing them soon after this.
Our shows air on a 13-week rotation so although it's a long wait, the LM show will run 12 weeks from this weekend (Feb 26th)
You could also email traffic@fishncanada.com to inquire about DVD copies of the shows.

No.10 Walleye
I'm entering the Walleye opener on the Bay of Quinte. Do you have any tips on catching the "Hogs" of Walleye?
Thanks, Michael
No.11 All about the Bass
I was up late on a can't fall asleep night with the WFN on and The First BC BASSIN episode came on. It was super exciting to see someone fishing and catching some large Bass in my back yard. I have heard from many people they were there but have had no luck catching them.
As soon as the weather became tolorable to stand on the shore I was at Vaseux. First day nothing on spinner baits, second day nothing on grubs. The third day I went down there and started twitching a tube across the bottom. And BAM!!! I cought my first bass, man that was an awesome feeling. What a great fighting fish they are. I caught 4 more that morning and took the bigest one home and threw it in a pan with some fish crisp and it tastesd great.
Thank you for turning me onto BC BASS. I really enjoy your show, Angelo Pete and Mike you guys are awesome to watch do your thing. If you need any help with your next adventure out here let me know. Would be happy to help.
Keep it Real!
