Transcript:
A former editor of mine, whose cottage is along the Trent-Severn system, spent a number of years having the Hell's Angels as neighbours.
They caused no problems and, it should be added, no one caused problems for them.
It was live and let live.
Some neighbours of mine, however, have neighbours from hell — the kind who rip up and down the lake at 3 a.m.. yelling and screaming, and even firing off firecrackers as they bomb along the shoreline, and who think that drinking is not a social pastime but an Olympian contest.
The owner of the cottage, who has been here about two years, recently got charged with driving his boat while impaired, but it has slowed no one down.
The other day, there were more than a dozen cars parked along his small patch of property, and the party was well underway.
No one knows how many times the OPP have been called, or how many times they have showed up.  But it has to be dozens.
So… what can you do?
The good listenership of this program may have some suggestions and, if you do, post a comment.
I've got some ideas. But none is particularly legal.
