I love this blog thing, I don’t even have to write about fishing!!!
I had to go up into an attic this past weekend to check out a problem with a bathroon exhaust fan. To make a long story short, I donned the coveralls and sniper-crawled across the joists totally replacing the tubing and the fan. Now if anyone has had this same problem you well know that something more than likely has gotten into the vent hole and decided to winter or breed in there. I’ve seen this many times. On this adventure I found 3 dead bird carcasses along with what looks like a Robin’s egg. The plastic tubing was shredded apart and the birds even started nesting between the joists in the insulation. Not 5 feet away from all the avian carnage was a huge bee hive hanging from the ceiling joists. I felt like Marlin Perkins up there!
And you people thought all we did around here was fish!!!

Hi Pete just wondering how the wrist was doing LD No.3 Untitled
Hey LD, Just had an MRI done at the request of a hand specialist. He says it's definitley Avascular Necrosis of the Lunate and the MRI will hopefully tell him what stage the damage is at. From what I remember, he said if it's early enough, he may be able to redo the blood flow by re routing blood vessles. If not then he has to go in and re-construct!!! Either way it looks like surgery. It just pisses me off that it's all coming to a head with fishing season just around the corner. Thanks for asking. No.4 Untitled
well lets hope that it is still early enough to fix the problem,When you start reconstructing stuff you could be down for the whole season and that would really suck! I am sure it wont come to that so take care of yourself and if you need to call someone up from the minors i am available anytime! LOL LD No.5 Untitled
hi Pete just thought i would share some bad news from the NBSFA. This weekend our Chairman Bert Beek lost his son trooper Corey Joeseph Hayes to a roadside bomb in Afganistan. Bert and his father Ralph are very respected members of the fishing community in New Brunswick and are both soldiers as well.Trooper Hayes was stationed in Pettawawa Ontario. No.6 Untitled

Thanks for the info and please tell Bert our hearts are with him and his family. It blows my mind to know that our state of economy and our nations heros are both dying because the almighty US-of-A has the on-going desire to dominate Jihad-Joe. Yeah terrorism needs to be dealt with but at the expense of our fellow country men... guys who sit in the same boats as us... fish the same lakes as us... sons of fathers & grandsons of grandfathers that fish together??? It just seems to me like there's something wrong with this picture.
Thanks for the note LD
